I love Maggody, Arkansas!

Several years ago one of my friends turned me on to Joan Hess’ Maggody novels. The Maggody books are about police chief Arly Hanks who lives in the small fictious town of Maggody, Arkansas. Along with Arly come a rag tag bunch of colorful characters who populate this tiny town. There is always a mystery in Maggody and it’s always a laugh riot getting it solved. Joan Hess is one of the few authors that will have me laughing out loud while I’m reading or listening to one of her Maggody books.
At any rate, I was so pleasantly suprised that Audible.com has started adding a couple of the Maggody novels, I had to download them right away!

Muletrain to Maggody…
Another Maggody book from Audible.com! Unfortunately, there are only two available and I’m hoping more of Joan 
Hess’ novels will be recorded…..keeping my fingers crossed. Muletrain to Maggody gave the reader another delightful visit to this fictitious blip on the map in Arkansas.
